The drawings I create are all done in either pencil or in a mixed medium. The paintings I create are all made with acrylic paint on either canvas paper or on normal paper designed for both oil and acrylics. My drawings are mostly influenced by fantasy and science fiction literature/movies. I get inspiration for my paintings from the natural world and from the myths and beliefs of cultures such as ancient Norwegians and America’s native peoples.

I frequently finish a piece of art the same day I start it. This is because my pieces are usually not very large in size. The biggest painting I have completed thus far is about 45-50 cm wide and about 25-30 cm tall. Like most of my work, my drawings are not typically very large, the biggest being about the same size as my biggest painting. I hope to create larger paintings and drawings in the future, but I currently lack the space in which to set them up. I am, however, hopeful that this goal of mine will one day be realized.
